The selection of excavator accessories and the use of steel materials are directly related to the performance, failure rate and value retention rate of an excavator during use. Today we will continue to introduce the basic functions and special uses of accessories.
1. Cockpit
You may think that there is nothing to introduce about the excavator cockpit. It is just an area for the operator to work. If you compare the cockpits of various manufacturers, you will find that there are great differences, especially in different types of work. The quality of the cockpit is extremely important. The environmental pollution, noise pollution and unexpected situations of the excavator working environment directly affect the safety of the entire operator. In particular, many special equipment can tilt the cockpit and raise the driving angle through the hydraulic support structure to improve the working viewing angle. However, the price of these special engineering machinery is much higher than that of standard excavators.
2. Hydraulic pump
This is the core component of the excavator. At present, there are many well-known hydraulic pump manufacturers and some small enterprises in the world that produce substitutes. The hydraulic pumps equipped with excavators as standard generally have excellent service life and performance. If the excavator repairs or replaces the hydraulic pump, it will be obvious that the failure rate and performance will be attenuated. This has a lot to do with the matching and installation of the hydraulic pump. Moreover, the price of hydraulic pumps is very different. The price of the same model in the entire hydraulic pump market varies by 200%-800%. The hydraulic pumps provided by the official are obviously more reliable, but the price is high. Users who purchase hydraulic pumps through other channels are not only cheap, but also have a very different overall service life from the original factory.
3. Hydraulic motor
As a hydraulic motor that can convert hydraulic flow into mechanical city, thereby driving the drive crawler or tire to move the excavator, the failure rate of hydraulic motors in excavators is very low, and the maintenance cycle of hydraulic motors is long. By replacing the lubricating oil of the hydraulic motor, it is easy to adjust the hydraulic motor to the appropriate angle and then unscrew the sealing screw to drain and add lubricating oil. The brand of hydraulic motors has not received much attention. If the hydraulic motor of a crawler excavator cannot work for a long time, the different working principles and high temperatures will shorten the service life of the hydraulic motor.
4. Engine
As the core component of the excavator, the engine currently has many detailed classifications and models from well-known global manufacturers. Kubota, Isuzu, Yanmar, Hino, Cummins, Deutz, Liebherr and Caterpillar all have their own unique technologies on the engine. Many excavator manufacturers have invested a lot of focus and R&D funds in the research and development of engines. At present, the prices of engine assemblies of excavators on the market vary greatly. Similarly, many manufacturers reduce costs through large-scale customized purchases, or further reduce the cost of use through their own research and development, and can further perfectly match the excavator. For the choice of excavator engine, users cannot choose alone, but the excavators provided by general manufacturers have different powers and even some provide different engines to choose from. The performance difference between engines is not large, mainly in noise, fuel consumption, later maintenance price and service life. There is a certain gap. This exists more or less between different brands and models.
